The polyurethane-elastomer Blickle Softhane® is one of the four polyurethane treads developed by Blickle. The positive characteristics of the tread are the end result of many years of optimisation. The extra-thick elastic tread guarantees excellent operational comfort. It is especially gentle on the floor, abrasion-resistant and quiet. The green colour does not leave any tracks and is also non-staining. Softhane® is resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances, with the exception of aromatic solvents, hot water or steam.

The Extrathane® tread was developed on the back of Blickle’s decades of experience in this area to meet market demand and provide an outstanding set of characteristics. The tread is highly abrasion-resistant and has a high resistance to cut and tear propagation. This means that heavy duty wheels and heavy duty castors which use Blickle Extrathane® tread are also suitable for crossing thresholds and medium speeds.

Thermoplastic injection-moulded polyurethane (TPU) based on polyesterpolyol, diisocyanate and glycol. This is vibration-absorbing, non-marking, non-staining and highly abrasion-resistant, while also providing good floor preservation. The tread is also resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances, although it has only limited resistance to hot water or steam.

Besthane® treads have 40% lower rolling and swivel resistance than the other polyurethane treads. This means that much less force is required to push or pull transport units carrying heavy loads. It also makes the series particularly interesting for customers focused on ergonomics and occupational safety. Besthane® tread also provides a particularly high level of dynamic load resistance, which is particularly useful when transporting sensitive materials. The tread is typically used for a variety of heavy duty applications on different transport units and machines in the machining and automotive industry. It can provide a load capacity of up to 12,000 kg at high speeds of up to 16 km/h.

We offer PU sheets in the dimensions 3000 x 1000 mm and thicknesses from 1 to 50 mm. Of course, special dimensions are also possible. PU round bars are available in the dimensions 70 °, 80 ° or 90 ° Shore A, dimensions 8 200mm x 1000m. Intermediate sizes can also be requested here. In addition to the extensive range of semi finished products such as plates, round rods, hollow rods and spring elements, molded parts with and without metal are also included in the scope of delivery. Mechanical rework such as water jetting, milling, drilling, sawing, punching and welding offers flexible potential from individual parts to series production. Simply as a replacement for steel! Plastic does not corrode and is much less costly than steel when ordered in large batches. Glass fibre reinforcement makes the plastic tough and loadbearing. Upon request, we can check whether your steel or stainless steel parts can be replaced by glass fibre-reinforced polyamides or polyurethanes at lower cost. Threads and internal threads are also possible, also steel inlays. It just depends on the batch size.

We coat rollers up to 3 m in diameter and weighing up to 2 t! We will be happy to provide you with rollers complete with wheels. We have good international contacts for procuring wheels made from steel, aluminium and stainless steel. Upon request we can mill a profile in the coating or form profiles directly during casting.

We accompany you with our design and development from the idea to series production! We process all common thermoplastics for you. Besides polyurethane, these are mainly: PE (polyethylene), PA (polyamide), PP (polypropylene), POM, ASA, TPU, PP, TPE as well as glass fiber reinforced plastics. Advantages of the injection molding process are low unit costs with high batch sizes. Before an injection mold is ordered, we build view samples for you as laser-sintered elements or by means of 3D printing. In this way, the desired part can already be viewed without having to spend a lot of money. Our machines inject molded parts from 5 to 6000 grams.

Conveyor belts are often used to transport bulk materials over long distances, especially in the stone, soil, mining and brown coal industries. Despite good scrapers, material residue often remains on the conveyor belt because of striations and minor damage. The result large amounts of material accumulate beneath the conveyor belt system in the area of the return rollers, and have to be removed by costly cleaning work involving many workers. FTK TURN Operating principle The FTK TURN belt turning station made of highly wear resistant polyurethane turns the conveyor belt through 180 degrees after material transport directly in the reverse direction or into the lower drum. Because of the turning process, the inner, clean side of the belt which never comes into contact with the transported material now has its surface facing down towards the ground. Cleaning is a thing of the past!
