PP barrel pump with rigid discharge tube. Barrel pumps made of polypropylene allow a fast transfer of liquids from barrels, canisters and tanks. The good chemical resistance of PP allows acids, alkalis and aggressive detergents to be transferred. The low-mounted non-return valve of the barrel pump and the immersion depth that can be steplessly adjusted using the barrel screw joints ensure good removal of residual liquid. The barrel screw joint fastens the barrel's pump securely to the barrel. Barrel screw joints and thread adapters for commercially available containers are available as optional accessories.

The B70H is a modification of our B70V and is designed for horizontal use on a transport trolley. It can be used in situations where the B70V comes up against spatial or handling limits and thus rounds off our Eccentric screw pumps with a mobile variant. The pump is suitable for pumping aqueous to highly viscous Newtonian and non- Newtonian media as well as media containing solids and shear-sensitive media. With the thread adapter made of high-quality stainless steel 1.4301 (304) a pump, a drain cock or any other connection with thread G 2" (Whitworth pipe thread) can be screwed onto a container with G 1 1/2" thread. The thread adapter adapts and thus compensates for different thread shapes. The drum adapter ensures that decanting is liquid-tight; a seal made of ePTFE reliably seals the connection. The thread adapter made of stainless steel is electrically conductive and highly chemically resistant. It can therefore be used for filling solvents and other flammable liquids (e.g. alcohols, petrol, diesel etc.) as well as for weak alkalis and acids.

Universal thread adapter for nearly all drums and other containers with opening of 48–75 mm in diameter, regardless of the respective thread. The thread adapter can be mounted quickly and easily with clamping screws and can be used for different container openings. With G2" connector thread for Bürkle drum screw connections and pumps with immersion tube diameter up to 32 mm. The container connectors make decanting even easier and safer with their more secure connection to barrels. The connectors secure the pump in the barrel, enable a vertical position change and allow the required air exchange.

EXTRU - Melt pump for extrusion and pressure increase of medium to high viscosity media. The extrusion gear pump is mainly used in combination with extruders or kneaders. It reduces the natural pulsation of the extruder and compensates for fluctuations in delivery, especially in single screw extruders. The extrusion pump is used as a melt pump. It builds up the required feed pressure, which is needed for the downstream die. The pressure build-up in the gear pump can be much more efficient than in the extruder itself. The extruder is relieved by using an extrusion pump. Furthermore, considerably less energy or heat is introduced into the polymer. The melt pump thus contributes to conveying the product as gently as possible. The EXTRU is indispensable for the production of precise films or micro pellets.

In petrochemical and chemical process engineering, screw pumps, acting as displacement pumps, offer hydraulic characteristics which make them indispensable for the entire viscosity range. In chemical applications in particular, the high suction force and the gentle handling of the fluids to be pumped are the outstanding features of this type of pump. In general, all of our pumps can be used in this field, but the most common one is the two-rotor pump. Leistritz screw pumps are used to pump clean or slightly abrasive, low and high viscosity fluids with lubricity from poor to good, such as: additives, bitumen, resins, crude oil, greases, benzenes, adhesives, silicates, isocyanates, tar, polyols, asphalt, paints/varnishes, paraffin, polymers, and various other chemical products.
