Metallic thinfilm systems are vaporized onto substrates to attain specific reflection and transmission values. Depending on the type of metal and the thickness of the layer, metallic splitter coatings are able to separate customerspecific wavelength areas.

Spray bottles with pump vapouriser and safety cap for the pump. Liquids can be finely vapourised at the push of a button in an environmentally compatible way. The transparent bottles make identification of contents easy. The protective cover prevents unintentional pressing of the pump and acts as a dust cover.

Coated and vapour coated panes etc. are delicate therefore we have special non rub off suction plates for all our vacuum lifting devices ready for residue free handling. Non-marking plates leave no traces on vapour coated or mirrored panes for instance.

Statox 501 PID - the Allrounder PIDs (Photo – Ionisation – Detectors) detect VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) in the ppm range, which other sensor types are unable to monitor, like solvents and fuels. A PID sensor uses high energy ultra violet light radiation to break gas molecules into radicals, which are discharged while passing a condenser. The discharge current increases proportional to the number of molecules, i. e. the gas concentration. The standard Statox 501 PID will detect all substances with a ionization energy below 10,6 eV PIDs are normally calibrated with Isobutene. Other gases will be detected with different sensitivity. These so - called response factors must be multiplied with the displayed concentration when adjusting span. Compur Monitors will adjust your Statox 501 PID individually to your application ex works. A magnetic pin gives access to simple parameter setting and calibration menu. A multi - color LED signalises the status of the system. The Statox 501 PID voltage output signal is similar the the signal of a catalytic sensor. The Statox 501 control module displays the measured value and provides an analog output and 3 powerful relay outputs for alarm devices or pcs. Hot solvent vapour is applied to the surfaces of the parts where it condensates, forming a solvent film in which dirt is dissolved. As the solvent condensate runs down along the parts, it takes with it the dirt particles (dust, chips, etc.), leaving behind clean surfaces. This physical cleaning effect results in thoroughly cleaned surfaces.

Especially the theoretically additional evaluation of the temperature and pressure dependence of phase equilibrium is insufficient very often in daily practice, thus the experimental determination of VLEdata is increasingly requested in the overpressure range, too. ILUDEST®/ iFischer® modified the VLEequipment, since decades sold under the worldknown FISCHER® brand, suitable for the overpressure range up to 50 bar. The VLEequipment is designed for a charge of 50 ml (dynamic mode) and can be operated under vacuum (1...1,013 mbar), atmcondition and overpressure (1...50 bar) as well as temperature up to 250°C. An extended operating range up to 100 bar is possible.

Scientists and chemical engineers still measure phase equilibria despite the significant improvement in theoretical evaluations. Therefore, our phase equilibrium apparatus is part of the standard equipment in chemical engineering laboratories. The vapourliquid equilibrium of binary and multicomponent mixtures constitute an essential basis for the determination of the theoretical plates necessary for the evaluation of separation processes. Although VLEdata are known from literature, there is still an increasing tendency towards redetermining equilibrium data by experiments, because the thermodynamic parameters like pressure, temperature and concentrations are different or inadequate. For designing e.g. extractive distillation processes the evaluation of vapourliquidliquid phase equilibria (VLLEdata) are required. The practical measurement and determination of these data proves difficult with the standardised VLEunits because of the phase formation of the liquids.
