The Lascar EL-USB-TC Thermocouple Temperature Logger is specifically designed for use with thermocouple sensors. This temperature logger stores over 32,000 temperature readings from a Type J, Type K or Type T thermocouple. The data logger is supplied, including a K-type sensor with a measurement range of 0 to 200°C. With this data logger, for more than 32,000 readings, you can very simply gain insight into thermal processes. This data logger from Lascar is a reliable and time-saving tool for measuring temperature in places where a normal temperature logger cannot reach, for example, in fruit and vegetables.

The laser diffraction particle sizer is capable to measure a particle size distribution from a collective of particles like a spray and to appropriately process, describe, and present it. The particle material may be solid or liquid in a gas or gas like air bubbles in a liquid. For the measurement it is only important, that the optical properties of the continuous and the dispersed phase are different. The laser diffraction particle sizer offers the advantage of a fast and non invasive measurement in a wide range of particle sizes. Especially in case of sprays or suspensions this method has become a standard measurement tool.

Based on the force measurement principle, the inspection system uses two load cells which measure the deflection of the measurement conveyor. These sensor elements are attached to a massive construction, which ensures a long-term mechanical stability of the system. The measurement conveyor uses precise and balanced aluminum rollers with special surface treatment. This ensures a low deadweight, avoids influence of unbalance and eliminates material sticking. DEWALT’s lead design engineer for drills was tasked with designing a high power right angle drill that is lightweight, compact, and portable. The goal with the design was to maximize performance while minimizing the size of the tool. The design would incorporate a mechanical clutch built to limit maximum torque output to 70 ft-lbs. Absent the clutch, with the huge gear reduction of 75:1, the drill would be capable of producing a lock rotor torque at the spindle of 175 ft-lbs, transmitted directly to the operator of the tool. It was determined early on that the clutching thrust required in the space available could only be achieved by a Disc Spring design. Compared to conventional coil springs, Disc Springs offer a higher load capacity in less space.
