Overmolding - Import export

The overmolding process is when a flexible material is molded onto a more rigid material called a substrate. If properly selected, the overmolded (flexible material) will form a strong bond with the substrate. Bonding agents are no longer required to achieve optimum bond between the substrate and overmold. HODA, UAB goal is to produce an excelent quality products and meet customer's requirements for a competitive price. HODA, UAB is EN ISO 9001:2008 certified. At the moment company has all needed injection moulding machines, which gives the flexibility to produce different size and purpose plastic parts from a fraction of gram up to six kilograms of mass.

HODA, UAB offers steel and other separate parts (inserts) overmolding. Inserts used in plastic parts provide a place for fasteners such as machine screws. For every Customer we find the best solution and offer very high quality services.

Stamped leadframes are designed to support and accomodate electronic components and PCBA. They can be made with full or selective tin, nickel, silver or gold plating depending on the final requirement. They can be made with pressfit terminals to be inserted into Printed circuit boards. 3 D stamped leadframes can also be designed to your needs. Overmolded leadframes made with high performance plastic resins are designed to support components which are protected in a housing. The overmolding housing allows for the integration of : - the connection area for power components bonding - the output connector to the customer interface - specific terminals to accomodate components to be soldered in electric capacitors for example.

This press is intended for rubber overmolding of cables used for stone cutting. The cables must be positioned in the mould in the stretched position, and over moulding takes place successively in the jog mode. The “CFrame” design with a closing force of 1,000 kN has been tailored to these presses, because this technology gives access to all sides of the mold, what is essential for the successful finalization of this very special overmolding.
