Plansee collimators are made of tungsten heavy metal alloys (Densimet® alloys). Due to the high density of the material, collimators perfectly shield from x-rays and gamma rays and therefore protect the healthy tissue during radiotherapy. Densimet® tungsten alloys are distinguished by their particularly high density. Combined with their ability to absorb radiation as well as their outstanding mechanical properties and machinability. Particular material properties: — high density of 17.0 to 18.8g/cm³ — better machinability compared to pure tungsten — high Young’s modulus and very good mechanical properties — high absorption capacity for X-rays and gamma rays — harmless to the health and environment

The one-part NDT X-ray chemistry ensures absolutely brilliant results in industrial film processing and is tried and tested in oil & gas, aviation, nuclear and military applications. As it is free of hazardous substances, it is not subject to any transport restrictions, it is odorless and free of hazardous and carcinogenic ingredients. It can be used universally and is therefore also suitable for mixed systems with different devices and X-ray films.

Medecom offers a WebDP solution to manage patient data. This solution allows to record a limited number of data, such as Name, First name, Doctor, examination room, appointment calendar... The data is converted into a DICOM worklist. They are therefore available to all modalities. A secure access to a Web interface allows to easily manage the addition of patients, to delete them, to consult the history of the patients... It is a simple cost-effective solution.
