The special brushes have a variety of brushes. We carry some spotting brushes in various sizes and cutlery materials. So we can bristle brushes with bronze, brass or stainless steel wire. But also hat cleaning brushes or leather cleaning brushes can be found here with us.

Machines for special purposes are manufactured specifically according to the customer’s wishes. Roller brushes over 4 m in length, with or without incline. Our wide range of special machines includes large disc-type brushes with different drilling diameters.

Should you have not been able to find the suitable lath brush for your application although our standard range is most versatile, we trust that our special types might come up perfectly to your requirement. They also offer best quality to meet your most particular wishes. You can choose for instance between frame shape, angled or arched shape; special fixing devices such as round drill holes or slots; threaded, grooved or clamped holding devices. In case of large-scale requirement we also provide especially moulded plastic or metal cores made either by injection moulding or diecasting. Please see the index card "brush assembly" for the core material. Furthermore we have wood, steel, stainless steel, light or heavy metal in our assortment.

Our special types consist of 10 types of strip brushes with metal backing widths from 1,8 mm to 13,5 mm, which we can produce in a large range of variations.You can choose:- All fill types, e.g. natural bristles and hair, plant fibres, wires and synthetic filaments. - The backing strip material made of galvanized steel, stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4571) or brass.- The trim height (BH) (free bristle length)- The overall length from a few centimeters to the maximum length which can be transported. The strip brush type 60 will mainly be mounted in half-rings with various numbers of grooves around the periphery and therefore used as a roller brush. The ring diameters are 80 mm, 100 mm and 102 mm. We can supply holders for fixing the strip brush type 25 and type 40.

As you are able to receive the strip brush with the bristles facing outwards, it is no problem for Kullen-Koti to produce the same brushes with the bristles facing inwards. Even with these brushes you have a dimensional range that cannot be reached with any other brush construction. The strip brushes in arch form cannot only be produced in half circle form, but also in every other separation form (for example 45°). The larger the dimensions the better multiple brush segments can be mounted around the perimeter. All fill material, such as natural bristles and hair, plant fibres and synthetic filaments. Kullen-Koti strip brushes with metal backing tape have a big advantage over other brush constructions with rigid plastic bodies. This is because they can be formed to ring brushes with a diameter of 12 mm and with a bore of 5 mm up to the biggest diameter of 2.000 mm with an inward diameter of 1.000 mm. The strip brushes in arch form cannot only be produced in half circle form, but also in every other separation form (for example 45°). The larger the dimensions the better multiple brush segments can be mounted around the perimeter. Our special types of sealing brushes consist of 16 particular plastic profiles which we can supply in a comprehensive range of variations. The two constructions of sealing brushes are: Strip brush construction: that means our strip brushes with metal backing are mounted in plastic profiles. Punched brush construction: consisting of a solid plastic profile with bundle holes in which the fill material has been mechanically anchored. Depending on the fill material you can choose a fill density of high EA1, medium EA2 or low EA3. Circular brushes are defined as brushes with a body length of up to 100 mm. The comprehensive range of dimensions, core materials, fill materials and fill configurations demonstrate the versability of Kullen-Koti again and again. As a matter of course it is more economical to use our standard dimensions for the brush cores. You will get your brushes in shorter time and for a lower price. Special models, for example with special fill configurations, core forms, axial hole with feather key groove, feather key dowel hole and collet thread or ball bearing are no problem for us. In case of special brushes, we would like to ask you to send us a drawing or simply discuss your requirements with our technical consultant. Many of our customers go for our standardised plastic cores for our lath brushes types 36 and 48, which offer advantages regarding the price and the availability. The plastic cores are available in PVC, PP and PE. They can be equipped with almost all fill materials, with your desired or our recommended trim height (BH) and fill configuration.Furthermore, by using these standard cores it is possible to produce lath brushes with special surfaces. Examples for surfaces: - profiled (concave, convex). - stepped (different trim heights (BH) in one brush). - inclined bristles lengthwise or in cross direction.

The strip brushes in cup form are also an all-purpose brush type. For special tasks we offer the dimensions from 20 mm to 1000 mm and through that cover a wide spectrum of applications. The bristles of strip brushes are fitted in a metal backing tape. This allows the brushes to be mounted by means of holders or inserted into grooves. For example, as replacements for special circular and roller brushes. We supply all standard types in a length of 1.000 mm. We can supply seperate holders for fixing our strip brushes type 25 and type 40. The standard types are produced with backing strips of galvanized steel and filled with polyamide bristles (PA6) resp. mane hair (MAH). If your application allows we recommend you to use our standard types available from stock.
