DIAMOND supplies high-quality solutions to polarization maintaining (PM) and polarizing (PZ) fiber optical interfaces for optimal control of the signal’s polarization state. Two production process are available in two product lines. Our broad PM standard products achieve a low Insertion Losses (IL) combined with high polarization extinction ratios (PER) and higher return losses (RL) thanks to our independent process of Active Core Alignment and Active Orientation. The multichannel connectors based on our DM technology insert (HE-2000, MIL-38999 DM, MIL-83526 DM) are fully compatible with the PM standard termination. The FlexLiner inserting system stands for reliable and trendsetting insert marketing for newspaper and mailshot producers. The size range, from smaller than A4 up to Nordisch newspaper format as well as a wide variety of product openings such as low folio lap, suckers, or air blades, guarantee a wide and flexible range of applications for newspaper, mailings, and magazine production. The inserting system in the midrange segment enables you to expand your product range by introducing new ideas and groundbreaking business models.

Falling run sizes, short order workflows, a large number of orders in the system – these are all aspects of Industry 4.0 and mass customization. This results in new customer requirements and new requirements call for new solutions. Processes must be networked, systems linked, the production status clear at all times, machines integrated in business solutions, etc. Muller Martini’s Connex workflow solution is the answer to these new requirements. Connex modules connect production equipment with the main control systems via standard interfaces. “Just in time” evaluations and production feedback are only part of the solutions. We network not only all of our own production lines via our modules but lines from other suppliers as well.

RTD or TC assembly characterized by basic sensor technology, application in non-hazardous areas, standard extension neck, low-cost unit. The devices are available with optional Bluetooth®-enabled head transmitters with 4 to 20 mA output or HART® communication, providing enhanced measurement accuracy and reliability compared to directly wired sensors.
