BBP TECH LAUNCHES TECHNOLOGY CENTRE IN BOSTON

Following the purchase of the trade and assets of Lincolnshire based Magnadata in August 2015, the business rebranded as BemroseBooth Paragon (BBP tech) and has launched a new dedicated technology centre in Boston. The company has relocated to new premises on Haven Business Park to create a dedicated technology centre that specialises in RFID contactless products, card personalisation and essential research and development. The new centre has allowed BBP tech to launch new solutions to the market, adding greater value to its portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. As a result of the new facility, the business has moved BBP tech’s heavy production capabilities to its existing site in Hull in order to improve efficiencies and created two dedicated sites that can each focus on the markets that they are able to service.

    The twist seal Turbion is a seal made of polycarbonate. It has two pre-installed parts: a case and a rotor. The transparent (sometimes semi-transparent) case reliably protects the internal locking mechanism and helps to monitor its integrity. The internal rotor consists of 4 leaves that allow to rotate it only clockwise. This means that it is impossible to open or remove the seal without destroying the rotor, which warns the intruders of unavoidable and obvious signs of external interference. As an added security, the case catch and rotor are marked with the same unique number. This eliminates the possibility to replace the seal or some of its parts with another.
