Surgical gown / scrub suit made of waterproof SMS nonwoven fabric and providing high comfort of use thanks to the incorporated wide ribbings made of soft fabric that adjust to the wrist. The protective gown has a universal size that can be easily adjusted to the user’s silhouette. Two non-woven tapes were used as fasteners in the construction of the gown. Additionally, the surgical gown is fastened at the neck with Velcro. The medical nonwoven fabric used in its production limits the direct contact with germs, dust or liquids. Application: protection against harmful external factors, it can be used as a disposable gown, cosmetic gown and medical gown.

The white protective overall is available in three sizes M/L/XL. It has well-fitted trouser legs and sleeves and a tight-fitted hood. In order to provide the greatest degree of protection, the coverall is equipped with a zipper that possesses an additional protection in form of an extra layer of fabric. The protective overall is made of lightweight and breathable material that has good protective properties and reduces the risk of germs being transferred to the skin. The material provides excellent protection and serves as a barrier for solid particles against splashes and bacteria. Application: protection against harmful external factors, protection of the employee’s body against dirt, as well as chemical, biological, mechanical and thermal factors. The product can be used as a medical protective overall, disposable overall, as well as a chemical protective overall.

Spunbond polypropylene nonwovens are mainly used in medicine, hygiene, cosmetics and pharmacy. They are applied as independent materials, offering low masses with relatively high strength properties. They can also be bonded with other materials (meltblown nonwoven), gaining completely new properties. These compositions are mainly used for hygienic applications, products for construction and the automotive industry. Application: spunbond nonwovens are applied in products such as, protective and medical clothing: disposable clothing, gloves, hats, caps, footwear protectors, surgical clothing, surgical field underlays and foiled underlays, disposable sheets and foiled sheets, single-layer medical masks, surgical gowns, shoe covers, sanitary pads, diapers, tampons, bandages, patches, dressings, compresses, linings, pockets, partitions, masking elements in products such as bags, belts, cases.

The three-layer SMS non-woven medical fabric with a properly selected material composition, by which it acquires unique properties. Positive bacterial filtration tests above 98% make the SMS nonwoven fabric characterized by low permeability of impurities and liquids. It provides free air flow – the structure of the non-woven fabric makes it a breathable material that is characterized by wear resistance and tear resistance. The polypropylene nonwovens offered by Bermed consist of multiple layers of spunbond and meltblown fibers, which guarantee flexibility, susceptibility to draping and antibacterial protection

Polypropylene nonwovens are valued in many industries due to their properties. They were produced in spunbond technology. As a result, they are characterized by softness, low susceptibility to stretching, relative stiffness and do not fray while cutting. The polypropylene nonwoven is hardly flammable (they melt at high temperatures and do not burn). In addition, PP nonwovens are breathable as well as very resistant to stretching, tearing and abrasion. Application: spunbonds, surgical gowns, protective masks, protective clothing, personal hygiene, diapers, disinfection wipes, as well as clothing, upholstery, furniture, leathercraft and footwear industries.

This filtration non-woven fabric almost completely minimizes the access of pathogens and airborne pollutants. BFE rates are above 99%. The material possesses high mechanical strength and high air permeability, which facilitates breathing, for example, in the case of masks. This meltblown nonwoven fabric can be bonded with other materials, such as spunbonds, to improve filtration efficiency.

The laminate can be used for the production of medical gowns and protective overalls, but it is not a breathable material.
