Description
Clofazimin is considered one of the cationic amphiphic medicines. The mechanism of action is not fully understood. Clofamizin is a red dye that has a bacteriostatic effect on the leprosy causing mycobacterium leprae. The active ingredient is used by WHO to treat leprosy.
