The Driesen+Kern GmbH DataCollectorXP is a 16 channel data logger for a variety of probes and signals. The robust device distinguishes itself with low current consumption which allows battery-powered long-term measurements for several years. Besides the easy to use touch-screen the DataCollectorXP comes with a comprehensive and powerful software for controlling the device and downloading and analysing data. The software works on PCs, notebooks and tablets with Windows operating systems. Two models are available that essentially vary in regard to the shape of their connectors: the DCXP and DCXP-R.

Driesen+Kern GmbH series of datalogger for humidity and temperature HumiLog "rugged plus" are rugged and versatile loggers for a large varity of applications. There are many different model available: with integrated sensors as well as 2 additional sensor slots for external sensors, high temperature models as well as with additional integarted sensor i.e. barometric pressure and light. We offer a large variety of probes which can be connected to the datalogger for humidity and temperature. These are external humidity temperature probes, water detectors, bedewing sensors, soil moisture probes, precise temperature sensors and thermocouples. Furthermore, analogue signals can be logged as well: 0-1V/5V/10V/4-20mA , resistance, impulses, PT100/PT1000/thermistors. The loggers are IP65 protected and may be used even in harsh environments. "rugged Plus" Datalogger with flexible inputs for voltage, current, resistance, pulse, strain gauge, temperature etc. "MultiLog rugged blue" datalogger models DK336 and DK337 datalogger for voltage and current and many more electrical parameters. They have two terminal block inputs to connect any type of electrical signal such as current, voltage, Pulse count, resistance, strain gauge. Furthermore you may use the loggers with temperature probes type PT100/PT1000/Termistor as well as Humidity and tmperature (digital probes). Both models are freely configurable, so you may select from a variety of ranges (0..1V/0..5V/0..10V oder 0...20mA....). You may configure engineering units to use them with any third-party device.

The datalogger type "MulitiLog rugged blue" model DK337 may additionally used to log signals from strain gauges and ELV-processes. With its ultra high resolution and accuracy and a precise constant current source it will allow for even more flexibilty than the DK336.
Driesen + Kern was founded by Mr. Hans-Hermann Driesen and Mr. Helmut Kern in 1977, as a sales company for physical measuring equipment. As per customer wishes, the company increasingly moved towards developing, manufacturing and selling its own systems. Investments were made in new technologies designed to miniaturise measuring and memory systems and in an industrial building in Bad Bramstedt. In 1996, Driesen + Kern introduced a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. Trained engineers and service technicians ensure that the customer is fully informed and advised. Quality and reliability are key when it comes to measuring equipment constructed in these miniaturised, compact designs. Therefore, no system leaves our company without having been fully inspected. Laser Scanner Solution: This task is a typical application of the high-resolution QuellTech 2D/3D Q5-880 Blue Laser Scanners. Two of these units are placed at the left and at the right of the measuring objects, at a defined inclination angle. Blue laser light in this case is a prerequisite, as the cast parts are red-hot, hence emitting in the red spectral range. Additionally, the client was in need of a software solution for the project, so a 3D point cloud processing application was implemented, performing inline and evaluating width, height and angle results. QuellTech customer is able to inspect continuously the product quality, simultaneously avoiding scrap. He uses the same system for more than 10 different types of castings. Errors caused by manual inspection are considerably reduced, and safety for personnel is enhanced.

The QuellTech laser sensor family Q4 or Q5 used for these tasks is generally mounted on an arm of a rotational axis, to scan along the complete 360° angle of the internal surface in a sequence of strips. The Q4 sensors can also be used to control the weld seam tracking itself for rapid setup and ease of use. Even during a project, the range and scope of the Q Series sensor demonstrates the advantages of a modular system to quickly adapt to project needs, where the smallest system has provided fast analysis of pipes as small as 105mm. The low power, with standard communication protocols, enable battery powered systems to transmit wireless data to other systems for review and cloud back up.
