Dried fig is an important potassium source and because of this, it balances tension and blood pressure. It prevents cardiovascular diseases. It beautifies the skin and also has a hematinic feature. It allows the ovular cells to hatch in women and makes it easier to get pregnant.

Figs are grown only in few countries. Turkey is one of these countries and a big producer. Turkish climate and Turkey's drying/processing technologies makes Turkish origin figs frequently wanted product. Dried apricots from Turkey is an export product of Turkish exporter Tarege Trade.
