Our battery packs provide the power for Europe’s largest scooter rental fleets, where the requirements and needs are extremely diverse. Thanks to specially developed BMS electronics and associated software, we can react extremely flexibly to specific customer requirements and special functions. Since as far back as 2013, our battery technology can be found in the large electric scooter rental fleets of European cities such as Berlin, Munich, Paris, and Bordeaux. This is where our battery packs have already proven their safe continuous operation and long durability over more than 5,000,000km and more than 150,000 hours of charging. Continuous operation over 24 hours a day, seven days a week, requires a robust battery management system (BMS) to ensure high safety and continuous availability of the vehicles.

The high-power battery pack is based on our proven e-scooter battery and has been further developed for maximum performance and durability. The INR1865030Q high current cells from Samsung allow discharge currents of up to 180A. The high-power battery BMS is extended to include an external power module, which can offer continuous currents of 140A. The Stäubli industrial connector system guarantees a secure connection and allows the use of 16mm² cable cross-sections.

The motor control unit for 48V drives was specially developed for use in light electric vehicles. With a continuous output of 6kW and a peak power of up to 12kW, the Emerge 6000 accelerates confidently through everyday life. Thanks to the automatic teach-in function, the controller forms a powerful unit with the motor within a very short time. Our field-oriented control system with highly efficient control algorithms then ensures a unique driving experience.

We offer complete drive units as well as the motor control unit on its own. The FRIWO motor control unit is installed directly onto the motor. They work together to form one perfectly aligned system.

A lot happens during the life of an electric vehicle. Our internally developed service software accompanies your vehicle throughout each stage of its life – from development and mass production to fault analysis in the workshop. It all starts with the development process. In order to provide the best possible support for your development team, we supply Enable Tool NG with the right software to make settings on our control units, manage different versions of this data, and safely carry out assembly from the prototype to the larger vehicle fleet. The Enable Tool NG supports the calibration of the control units and the commissioning of electric systems during mass production. The software also maintains databases for the long-term secure storage of data and protocols.

Our high-quality display has all the essential elements, including signal and warning lights, that you have come to expect from a modern electric vehicle. The display is updated instantaneously. A number of additional features make the interaction between the vehicle and its driver even more exciting: The bar graph above the speed indicator can be used variably to display information including the remaining overboost. The IP67 rated display is splash-proof and, naturally, suitable for constant outdoor use. The weatherproof display is easily readable, even in direct sunlight, and always keeps the driver updated.

Our electric drive train can be implemented into most vehicles that require a 48V system, power and running time can be increased by wiring the components in a grid formation as per the graphic.
