The IMCS is a cost and time effective solution to implement complex and high-performance motion control/test systems or prototypes. It constitutes a family of ready-to-use hardware and firmware components which use a modular and distributed intelligence approaches. A bespoke solution can be quickly and easily assembled from these components, corresponding to a particular combination of actuators and sensors.

The IMCU is a DSP-based controller suitable for a large spectrum of control applications. Its modular design includes: * common for all applications main board (MAIN), * designed for each specific application mezzanine (MEZZ) for as example sensor interface * range of power amplifier(s) (PA) (power linear, Brushless, step etc.) allows the user to match the IMCS precisely to the requirements of each motion control project. Once programmed with suitable and open source firmware, it combines in a single unit all the functions necessary to control one actuator(s). The IMCU is designed around reprogrammable (CPLD and DSP) and reconfigurable technologies allowing it to be tailored exactly to a particular requirement.

The MTI is a cost effective set of test interfaces (modules) between tested unit and measure equipment. It includes common module as voltage, current, differential types but also easy to be customized. All modules are based on high performances components and provide a galvanic isolation including common supply (5Vdc). Applications: cost effective test set-up, educative element to practice: sensor adjustment, calibration, different technologies and their performances.

Standalone version of the IMCU including: 1. power supply (DC/DC converters), global protection and management 2. power amplifier directly controlled by DSP providing a large configuration, protection and measurement possibility 3. Optimal control in relation with EMC and efficiency 4. Specific for each application mezzanine board to interface applied position sensor devices s LVDT, resolver, incremental etc. 5. Possible implementation on the CAN bus 6. Internet/WiFi/Bluetooth user's interface based on the Raspberry module 7. Implemented open source firmware 8. Possibilities to direct programing implemented DSP from Simulink@ model
