The broad range of adhesives for gluing gaskets, guidance rods and load spreading pads includes single-component, single-coating adhesives and thixotropic epoxy adhesives serving both as glue and as levelling agent for the groove concrete surface. In order to reduce the construction time of tunnels and make segment installation easier, FIP INDUSTRIALE has designed a mechanical system for the longitudinal connection of rings (Biblock system). Site experience has shown that the use of this system can reduce the time of ring installation up to 10%. Biblock system is manufactured with special high-resistance, unbreakable and dielectric plastic materials. Each set consists of the following elements: two sockets to be cast in the segments concrete; one connecting pin to be inserted in the sockets during installation of the segment; one bushing - optional in some models - that accompanies the pin and acts as aligner. FIP INDUSTRIALE guidance rods permit the correct positioning and circumferential centering of bridge segments. They also speed up the installation of every ring. They are glued to the short side of the bridge segment. Guidance rods manufactured in special unbreakable high-yield resistant plastic material and are therefore capable of withstanding high shear forces.

The TECNOWALL Panel has been especially designed by our technical staff to combine element sturdiness, quick handling and quick installation in one product.
