Not all MDF panel products are made equal, in fact there many varieties of MDF, each having its own specific purpose. Our White Moisture Resistant MDF board is specifically designed for use as a pre-finished board that can be used in areas that are prone to moisture or occasional wetting. This product features all the qualities of standard White Melamine faced board, easy to work with, easy to machine, clean cutting (when cut correctly) and the ability to take an edging. The obvious advantage is that it can be used in environments such as kitchens and bathrooms without the risk of swelling caused by the ingress of moisture. Our Moisture Resistant White Melamine Faced board is commonly used in the manufacture of permanent and mobile bars as well as “breakout areas” and office kitchen areas. Its inherent resistance to moisture provides a longevity and durability that standard MDF or Chipboard Mel

As an online product, our Cut to Size then Primed MDF panels fairly unique. We take raw, un-primed, high quality, moisture resistant board, cut it, sand the edges, and then prime it. This process ensures the panels are fully primed all over, including the edges. Most of our competitors use a pre-primed MDF sheet that is cut to size after it has been primed. Naturally, this leaves an un-sanded, un-primed, raw edge. Whilst Factory Primed MDF has its place. and is suitable for some projects, it may not suit everyone’s needs. Almost all pre-primed MDF is produced using an average quality, moisture resistant, board. Our panels are superior as they cut from a high quality moisture resistant MDF. In addition, the edges are sanded and the panels primed all round. Each of our primed panels includes a single coat of water based primer to each side with two coats applied to each edge. The quality of the primer, and the amount of primer used, is superior to the factory applied option.

Our Factory Primed MDF Sheet cut to size can be used for a wide range of interior projects. It is very popular with kitchen and bedroom manufacturers for use in cabinet construction. The pre-primed, moisture resistant sheets are supplied to us with white UV primer on both sides. When coupled with our cut to size service, this product provides a time and cost saving compared to the un-primed alternative. Due to it’s exposed edges it is more suited to projects where the edges are not seen or are of low concern.
