For non-mechanized terminals, slave pallets are an essential tool for handling and transporting ULDs. The pallets are equipped with four rows of 16 non-powered rollers. There is a non-slip treadplate between the rollers that allows the pallet to be walked on. Slave pallets can be transported using powered conveyor systems or the Lödige Mini and Lödige Robby, as well as using our slave pallet mover. The slave pallet mover is an electrically operated floor conveyor for transporting slave pallets. It is powered by a battery and has a lifting unit for elevating pallets. Three forks ensure the ULDs are transferred safely. This means slave pallets can be moved throughout the building quickly and easily. Dolly Docks from Lödige facilitate the airside loading and unloading of air cargo units Dolly docks receive and send off ULDs on airside. Fast and smooth transfer is essential. The truck dock from Lödige facilitates the loading and unloading of air cargo units onto and off trucks. Equipped with a hydraulic lifting unit and a vertical shift function, the truck dock brings conveyor elements into line with the truck loading ramp. ULDs or pallets are transferred horizontally by a powered roller conveyor. Depending on requirements, the conveyor can be replaced or combined with other technologies such as a ball deck or castor deck. A moving version of the truck dock is also available.
