The Hartmann pig valve provides a space- and cost-saving substitution for expensive pig launching systems. In addition to its classic use as shut-off valve, it functions as pig launcher or receiver. The simple, secure, and fast insertion or removal of scrapers take place through an interlock that is integrated on the side of the valve and locked and secured through a bayonet system. An optional bypass in the closed position also allows cleaning operations when the medium flow is not to be interrupted completely. Also separating different products in a pipeline is possible. A 3-step, redundant safety concept and an entirely metallic sealing shut-off guarantee highest availability for operation and cleaning of oil, gas, slurry and water applications. Special designs are available: e.g. 180° pigging valves which can act as launcher and receiver in both directions, or pig valves for extended scraper lengths than the standard 1.4 x nominal diameter of the pipeline.

The Hartmann Twin Ball Valve (TBV) provides a double line barrier and enables a significant increase of safety without much effort. Designed for applications with especially high safety requirements, the TBV consists of two integrated ball valves, which can be equipped with two independent barriers each. Thereby the safety can be raised by factor 4 compared to a standard valve. With the Double Isolation and Bleed function each ball valve seals both at the upstream and downstream side. With the so-called „studded“-design, meaning a closed flange form, the valve has the length of a single standard valve and affords a compact and economic alternative for the application of multiple valves. The TBV comprises – like all Hartmann valves – a pure metal-to-metal sealing system between ball and seat ring. With this sealing system leakage rates A, respectively 0, can be fulfilled. Furthermore, it is characterized by an outstanding longevity and low maintenance requirements.

Our patented desuperheater TECtemp HT L lance cooler is suitable for applications at temperatures up to 750 °C due to non-moving parts in the steam flow. The three-part design makes it possible to bring the control unit with drive out of the high temperature area. The reduced weight of the steam lance has a positive effect on the support load of the steam line. The functional principle is based on the proved TECtemp desuperheater. The compact control unit can be removed easily and can be serviced individually for servicing work.

Our patented desuperheater TECtemp HT R ring cooler is designed with a three-part structure without moving parts and without weld seams in the steam lances. These are arranged in a ring shape depending on the steam pipe nominal diameter. For example. 40 individually controlled nozzles can be used in this way. Homogeneous distribution of the injection water makes short evaporation sections and minimal load of the steam pipe possible. The geometry of the steam lances acts like a venturi nozzle in the steam pipe which results in clearly reduced loss of pressure.
