Terminal board, terminal block, terminal rail: no matter what you call it, we deliver what you need for an interface to your current-transmission solution. Terminal boards serve to connect cables and conductors in electric motors and electrical systems. Housed in separate terminal enclosures, they form the interface for the cabling to the outside world. Depending on the field of application, terminal boards from MACK are produced from different moulding compounds. Round or oblong hole, different measurements, fixing-hole spacings and pin sizes – you will undoubtedly find the right terminal board and terminal accessories amongst our assortment.

We produce flexible and rigid versions of our copper connections. Which connection would you like us to create for you? Flexible braids made from round or flat copper conductors are the optimum solution to link electrical connections subject to mechanical vibration. Different conductor cross-sections with tinned ends or crimped and punched ferrules, with insulation or bare: our customers determine the composition of our huge variety of products. At MACK we also produce rigid connections made of solid copper precisely to your specifications. Precision-made and with exact forms and curves, they fit perfectly into the respective installation position. And it goes without saying that even here we can create partially insulated solutions.

Our small and industrial carbon brushes are used in many different power- and signal-transmission applications. How can we help you? The range of different dimensions and versions of small and industrial brushes is enormous: It's no wonder the quality products from MACK are used in many electrical tools, small motors, AC and DC motors, in the automotive field, and many other applications. With higher currents, such as in wind turbines and grounding systems, our metal graphite grades ensure optimum transmission. Our silver graphite carbon brushes are also used in marine shaft grounding and in signal- and data-transmission systems, for example, in tachogenerators. The great variety of contact shoe shapes and materials means there are very few limits in terms of applications. Which linear current transmission system are you working on at the moment? Amongst other applications, our collector shoes are in use on power rails and current collectors, as grounding contacts, or for electrifying port cranes (E-RTG). One special feature: MACK contact shoes can be plastic coated if required. This provides partial insulation and enables perfect coordination throughout the whole system. Exactly as you need it.

Our high-current brushes feature a large contact surface and a very high metal content. You tell us your requirements. We can produce the version which best suits your current transmission system! When very high low-voltage currents have to be transferred with simultaneous thermal conduction, high-current carbon brushes are needed. You will find this special expertise at MACK. The classic areas of application for our high-quality products are electrolysis, galvanising and welding plants, as well as high-current applications in mechanical engineering.

Current transmission has to be assured, even when the application is greasy or oily. This is where our metal gauze brushes come in. What challenges have you got for us? MACK metal gauze brushes are capable of breaking through the oil coat which develops between the stator and the rotor during wet running, thereby ensuring permanent surface contact and power transmission. The versions available range from the simple metal gauze brush without fitting to the complex telescopic metal gauze brush for telescopic current supply.

Tried and trusted standard types, or individually produced special solutions: No matter what you require – we have the right grade for any application. High quality and individually produced. Brush grades describe the exact composition and the quality of our carbon brushes. With a wide range of formulations and properties, we ensure that the correct carbon brushes are supplied, even for the most special customer requirements. Thanks to special reworking processes such as impregnation, we can alter and improve the properties of MACK brush grades. For example, we can provide increased strength, improved slide characteristics, or lower spark production. The classic solution for many slip ring applications: At MACK you will find the right leg brush holder for your technical requirements. Without any doubts. Our tried and trusted holder model is available with one or two legs, with fixed or adjustable carbon brushes, in metal or – as a special version – in plastic. Together we can develop the individual version that meets your requirements. As with most MACK products: We do everything ourselves, and only in our own facilities – from the production of the main parts to the completion of all assembly work. This is how we can guarantee you maximum precision and process security.

MACK brush holders with clamps are available in many different sizes, shapes, versions, and materials – also for your slip ring or commutator application. Our brush holders with clamps have everything tightly under control. The carbon brushes are inserted into the brush shafts of the holder. The brush pressure comes – depending on the type – from a pressure finger, or (in the case of a self-recoiling spring holder) with a suitable self-recoiling spring holder, which permits the use of above-average length carbon brushes.

Our insulated brush-holder bolts provide the mounting basis for most leg brush holders and brush holders with clamps. What fits your design?
