Karl Heesemann Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1933 by dedicated engineer Karl Heesemann. Heesemann has been producing sanding machines for industry and trade for over 80 years. We have also been behind several influential innovations that are still in use today. Heesemann has continued to offer and drive forward new sanding technology. Today, Heesemann employs around 150 people at its headquarters in Bad Oeynhausen, and is the global market leader in wood sanding machines. Our product range includes machines for sophisticated craft operations as well as heavy industrial machinery. In addition to the wood sector, Heesemann is currently expanding its market share in the metal sector. The export quota is around 80% and our main markets after Europe are the USA and Asia. · Heesemann sanding machines are used to manufacture furniture, doors and wooden floors, in the record, crafts and interior fittings industries and for the production of mouldings. · Heesemann machines are used for calibration and fine sanding of solid wood, as well as veneer, lacquer and foil sanding. · Depending on the type of machine, surfaces, edges and profiles (rectilinear and curved parts) and three-dimensional shaped workpieces (e.g. car interior trim) can be sanded. · Heesemann offers the profiRounder deburring and edge rounding system for metal working operations.
