For over 20 years LUBCON provides inspections on failed or damaged ball and roller bearings. Understanding why a bearing has failed is essential to prevent the same failure from happening again. Detailed bearing analysis including inspection report: The report will usually cover more than 5 pages and include images, comments regarding possible failure modes and recommendations for preventive actions if appropriate. Remote analysis with short report: A short report will usually cover 2 to 4 pages and include comments regarding possible failure modes and recommendations for preventive actions if appropriate. Maintenance-Free Roller Bearings with Extended Service Life. Turmocomp HD 150 is a lubrication concept enabling effective lubrication of roller bearings even in complex operating conditions. The lubricating compound is a composition of molecular polymers and synthetic base oils. For applications in the food industry, H1-approved oils are being used. A subsequent heat treatment hardens the compound to a firm, open-porous matrix structure. It completely fills the bearing cavities and cannot be displaced easily. Due to its structure, a significantly greater amount of lubricant can be stored in comparison to conventional grease. This compound is suitable for almost any geometry of roller bearings. Turmocomp HD 150 is the perfect solution in applications where re-lubrication with conventional grease or oil is not possible or where bearing failures occur regularly after a very short time due to harsh operating conditions.

Lubricant behaviour and its effect on the manufacturing process can be calculated using selective lubricant sampling and precise analysis. Menacing component failure or premature breakdowns can thus be prevented. A substantial analysis determines wear-particle content in the lubricant and provides information about running behaviour as well as the operating conditions, without causing long machine downtime or time consuming machine disassembly.
