The FIA system of MLE GmbH Dresden is an automated analytical system designed for laboratories of water and environmental analysis. Parameters of samples are photometrically measured with standardised procedures. The applied technique of flow injection analysis has been become a standard method for ion analysis of aqueous samples, food extracts and eluates from soil. According to your needs the modular system design ( FIAmodula and FIAcompact) enables customized system configurations. Already existing systems can be expended to fulfill new laboratory requirements.

FIAmodula FIAmodula is designed for parallel operation of multiple modules. This option further enhances a high sample throughput. Within a run several parameters of the same sample can be analysed simultaneously. Considering the matrix analysis parameter can be combined any way you want. The method units are permanently installed on the modules. There is no alteration necessary.

FIAcompact FIAcompact is an efficient solution for laboratories with small amount of samples. Different parameters can be analysed sequentially. Complex procedures like digestion or enrichment processes can be performed due to two independently controlled multichannel pumps. Within minutes the complete method unit can be changed easily. Our universal method unit combines the basic parameters for analysis of water samples: ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, ortho-phosphate. Measurement of summary parameters total nitrogen and total phosphorus content in water samples or extracts can be carried out due to implementation of a digestion unit. The parameters free and total cyanide content can be quickly measured with the cyanide analyzer.
