RK monitor mounting – high-strength, flexible and individually adaptable VESA or universal mount for connecting monitors, displays or control panels. Monitors, touch screens, displays and control panels are used every day, and not just in the office. Industrial machines and systems are programmed or performance data displayed on modern touch screens or control panels. In utility vehicles, camera monitoring systems facilitate resetting and navigation devices make positioning possible. On conveyors, monitors make it possible to monitor and visualise all sorts of processes. Today, control panels or flat screens are often an essential component of modern assembly workstations, too. Standard systems are generally designed for office applications. Industrial environments push these monitor mountings to their limits. For example, they normally can carry loads of only six to twelve kilograms and are not robust enough for use on machines, systems or assembly workstations.

Monitor swivel arms for ergonomic workstation design The monitor mountings from RK Rose+Krieger allow for an optimal view of the monitor or a control panel. The range of action can be increased even further by using a swivel arm. This may be useful for carrying out set-up work on machinery for example, or if the monitor is having a disruptive impact on the working environment. There is also the option of expanding the support arm with two support tubes (twin version) to include a sturdy keyboard tray. The modular design of the RK swivel arm/support arm system allows for varied combination options and helps to adapt workstations to the most ergonomic arrangement.

Tablet holder expands range of RK monitor mounting accessories The tablet holder allows the quick and easy mounting of display devices (tablet PC, iPad, display, etc.) on the machine The tablet holder can be mounted directly on the fastening flange of the RK monitor mounting. The required fastenings are included in the scope of delivery. The clamping area of 125 – 200 mm (4.8 – 7.8") can be infinitely adjusted using a manual control knob. Foam cushions ensure the secure fastening of the tablet/display (max. thickness 13 mm).

With the new height-adjustable monitor floor stand, RK Rose+Krieger is expanding its "RK monitor holder" product range to include a robust, ergonomic standing workstation for industry. The work surface and monitor mounting are supported by a stable triple column system and can be adjusted conveniently by hand to the size of the respective user. The three elegant, slim anodised aluminium columns stand on a black, powder-coated base frame which provides space for an industrial PC and accessories. Cables are elegantly routed in the integrated cable duct on the rear column. The light grey coated work surface (0.3 m2) can be adjusted by hand easily thanks to the tieback support. A spring-loaded locking bolt provides reliable latching. The height adjustment stroke is 400 millimetres. This way the workstation can be adjusted individually to the body size of the user. In addition, the height of the monitor can be adjusted separately and thus guarantees optimum workstation ergonomics.

Connecting tubes which have been cut to size can be connected to one another using ITAS tube connectors made of cast aluminium via a simple plug-in principle. No further mechanical processing is necessary, which reduces assembly costs to a minimum. An internal clamping mechanism and the tightening of the special clamping screws guarantee a positive connection with smooth transitions, which are pleasant to the touch and also ensure enhanced safety – injuries due to getting caught up are an impossibility. The result is a simple and stable system which fulfils all safety guidelines.

Due to the ever increasing automation of manufacturing processes and equipment, the protection of people from sources of danger is growing in importance. The BLOCAN safety guard has a grid design and therefore reduces the effort required from the user in planning, construction and assembly to a minimum. The RK protection system complies with the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Using special Click & Safe connection elements, the safety guard elements are fixed quickly and securely to pillars made from BLOCAN® aluminium profiles which fulfil the legal requirements for safety devices.
