Design and construction This Schulz ball caster / ball transfer unit consists of a casing, a top cover and a bearing cap as solid turned parts, a bearing ball and several support balls. Design & construction Our Schulz separate fixing clip assits installation and compensates for irregular bore diameter. Installation Our Schulz clamp spring washers/fixing clips for euro ball transfer units allow ball transfers units to be mounted and removed from the installation (upper) side. Our clips requires a minimum plate thickness of 3 mm to grip securely.

Design and construction The Schulz ball caster „Blue-Line“ with a housing made of certified plastic and a gap-free, closed cover (without dirty edges), a plastic or stainless steel carrier ball and several support balls has been specially developed by us for use in the food industry. For this purpose they have the signal colour blue. The Schulz plastic ball castor „BlueLine“ is particularly easy to clean due to the new design with several dirt holes in the housing. Dimensions The pitch is determined by dividing the shortest edge length of the conveyed material by 3.5.

On request, we supply ball caster rails / ball transfer units rails adapted to your individual requirements. We usually use rectangular section tubes with 2-4mm thick walls. The tubes are galvanised in the standard procedure, but can also be supplied with powder-coated surfaces in different RAL colours. Ball caster spacing patterns can be carried out in accordance with the collar size of the ball casters used. We supply profile lengths of up to maximum 6,000 mm. The moveable stop pins on the plate housing guarantee a secure hold during transport. The STriMo consists of a hard anodized aluminium plate including handle, three solid ball rollers and four moveable stop pins. The STriMo can take a load of up to 300 kg per ball roller (= 900 kg total load)!

On request, we can supply ball caster tables / ball transfer units tables adapted to your individual requirements. We usually use sheet metal panels, which are manufactured, edged and welded on all sides, in accordance with your size specifications. The standard table models are galvanised, but can also be supplied with powder-coated surfaces in different RAL colours, in bright steel or stainless steel. Ball caster spacing patterns are manufactured in accordance with your individual requirements. We supply every size of table. In the case of surfaces larger than 2,000×3,000 mm, several table plates are put together to make one table. The ball casters / ball transfer units are mounted by means of press fitting and are easily replaceable. They can be mounted in rows or positioned alternately.

Around installation technology, cable clamps for the fastening of HF cables to telecommunication masts are our speciality. These cable clamps consist of a C frame including retaining feet (for installation on to a C-profile or flat bar) and a fastening screw with grouted thrust washer. In addition, the corresponding number of cable trays (inlays) are supplied. C frame The C frames are stamped bent parts which – depending on their size – have lateral pieces to provide rigidity and stability. The fixing screws have a uniform hexagon head. Due to the construction and material selection, after tightening, a secure hold is ensured even without a lock nut. A torque of 1.5 Nm is recommended here. Installation to flat bars is possible up to a material thickness of 9.3 mm. Inlay The cable troughs are chamfered for side installation or simple setting into the C frame. The wide overlap protects against falling through before tightening the fastening screw.
