Manufacturing piping is one of our specialities. Piping is a versatile aid when sewing – e.g., it can be used along edges, hems, slits, or in seams, for defining dividing seams or transitions dimensionally or by adding colour. Our piping is manufactured using braiding techniques and consists of a tape-like braid/sew-on edge, which has a cord/welt that is more or less thick on one side. This cord defines the edge or the seam. In the case of braided piping, the braid is flexible which makes it ideal for being laid around curves and edges.

We also offer special processing methods for our articles. If necessary, all our products can also be pre-treated, that is, pre- shrunk to keep later shrinkage to a minimum. We can also needle or, in other words, cut to length many of our articles and fit them with plastic ends, which is ideal if the intention is to use cords and braids for casings and hoodies or as a belt for trousers.

Whether it is elastic or ribbon jacquard production, we are available. They vary in width between 1 cm and 5 cm. We have written, character, multi- color and effect options. For these accessories, which are mainly obtained from weaving, pattern work is carried out completely depending on your order. Silvery and embossed alternatives are also available.

Tapes can be used for countless applications. Their appearance is defined by different woven structures such as a satin, rib, or twill weave (herringbone) and the material itself. Our tapes are available in plain, striped, with polka dots, or quilt stitch, from synthetic fibre or cotton – depending on which look you’re going for: sporty or elegant, playful or accentuated.

Whether classic, besom, or tassel fringes, double-sided, short or long, smooth, twisted or ruffled, thick or thin, plain, multicoloured, or with fancy yarn. We manufacture a huge selection of variable fringes on our crochet galloon machines. Upon request, we also process customer yarns so they suit the outer fabric or develop a fringe that fits your design.

Our product range also includes cords (laces, ropes) in a wide variety of materials, types, and thicknesses. We manufacture plain or multicolour braided, knitted, twisted, and elastic cords. We carry a large selection of different designs and samples, such as the climbing or paracord look. We are also happy to accommodate your individual wishes – whatever they may be. Cords can have a round or oval cross-section (tubular cord), but can also be entirely flat (tubular braid). Cords can be used for lacing, binding, regulating widths, or adding other fashionable or sporty touches. For example, they can be found on hats (hat cord), as a drawstring in hoods, a jackets and trousers regulator, as a belt, as shoe laces, or as chains. Thinner variations are also commonly used as hanging loops, hang tags, packaging, or embroidery. As an insertion cord (low- shrinkage welt insert), it is used for piping with fabric or as corded welting.
