IKO Shell Type Needle Roller Bearings are lightweight bearings with large load ratings. They employ a shell type outer ring made from a thin specialsteel plate which is accurately drawn, carburized and quenched, thus providing the lowest sectional height among the Needle Roller Bearings. There are two types of bearings available in this series; the caged type and the full complement type. The appropriate type can be selected according to the operating conditions. The caged type has a structure in which the needle rollers are accurately guided by the cage and thrust rings. It is useful for applications at highspeed rotation. The full complement type needle roller bearing, on the other hand, is suitable for heavyload applications at lowspeed rotation. Since these bearings are pressfitted into the housing, no axial positioning fixtures are required. They are ideal for use in massproduced articles that require economy, and have a wide variety of applications.

IKO's Extended Life Specification Machined Type Needle Roller Bearings are treated with a newly developed special heat treatment that enhances the bearing's surface hardness and toughness, and suppresses the generation and growth of damage on the surface. Significant life extension can be achieved under high load or under the condition of lubrication contaminated with foreign substances. In a life comparison test, IKO's special heat treated Extended Life Series products lasted 5 times longer than standard heattreated products.

Using IKO CLube Linear Way L for the linear motion rolling guide and IKO Crossed Roller Bearings in the rotation guiding parts, while adopting direct drive method in the drive section, IKO Alignment Stage SA···DE is a compact, lowprofile alignment stage which achieves XYθ motion.Alignment Stage SA···DE achieves highly accurate positioning without backlash by combining a highresolution linear scale and full closed loop control. An ideal positioning mechanism for alignment processing using image processing, such as in semiconductor/liquid crystal manufacturing equipment, or for measuring instruments or testing and inspection equipment requiring clean environments.

Precision Positioning Table LB is a highspeed movementenabled, long stroke positioning table that adopts a highly durable and hightensile timing belt containing steel cord incorporated into the feeding mechanism of the slide table, and uses a high torque 5phase stepper motor as the driving motor. The slide table and bed are made of lightweight highstrength aluminum alloy. Two sets of IKO Linear Way are incorporated into the linear motion rolling guide in parallel, realizing stable and high running performance. Precision Positioning Table LB is ideal as a positioning mechanism, for assemblers, conveying machines or pallet changers that work at high speed.
