Hardwearing, inexpensive and free from defects found in natural timbers such as splits or knot holes, MDF is a popular choice of material for cabinet-making, retail displays, exhibition stands, display plinths, theatrical scenery and decorative furnishings such as doors and radiator covers. MDF can be laminated, painted, varnished or left in its raw state and accepts a wide range of fixings.
