Stiegele Stromerzeuger -
always powered for you
The company Stiegele Aggregatebau was founded in 1979 by Günther Stiegele in Löwenstein Hößlinsülz. In the early years, the main focus was on the repair and overhaul of used aggregates, but just a few years later, we also began manufacturing 630 KVA container aggregates in our cramped facilities.
With the move to a new building in 1989 in Obersulm Willsbach, featuring over 1200m² of office and production space as well as a 32t crane system, we created the opportunity to handle large projects. Just a year later, we received the order to supply and install a 2500 KVA power generation system weighing over 30t.
In 1990, the company was renamed Stiegele Stromerzeuger GmbH. With the expansion of the company premises from 6000 to 9000m², we prepared in 1999 for the growing space requirements of our rental fleet.
After the sudden death of the company founder Günther Stiegele in 2000, Ursula, Uwe, and Timo Stiegele took over the management.
Due to increasingly extensive projects and the associated planning and construction tasks, the technical office was expanded to 5 CAD workstations in 2005. At the same time, we modernized and expanded our test stand.
In 2007, we employed about 30 staff members in the areas of planning, control cabinet construction, manufacturing, assembly, and related service. To meet the growing space requirements of production, we expanded our manufacturing area in 2007 with an extension featuring 2 additional crane systems, adding another 600m².
2011/12 Expansion of 630m² office and workshop space
With the move into the new premises in spring 2012, new offices and workshop areas became available for the service sector, as well as new technical offices for planning, construction, and project management.
In 2012, we employed about 40 staff members in the areas of planning, control cabinet construction, manufacturing, assembly, and service.
High quality standards, reliable work, and competent contacts make us a valued supplier for renowned companies such as Bosch, 1+1 Internet AG, HP, WEB.DE, Deutsche Bank, Max Planck Institute, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, and many more.
