With TesTWinner® TesT has developed a system which enables the user to arrange nearly every imaginable test procedure freely and, most notably, very easy. By stringing together and by parameterizing, a limited number of preset macro instructions permits the designing of complex test procedures without requiring any programming knowledge. TesTWinner® possesses a library with approx. 300 programs acc. to national and international norms as well as customer-specific regulations. SoftTesT is an evaluation software for measurement data, obtained from the evaluation electronics 813 or dynamometers 323. By means of SoftTesT measuring values are transferred to the PC in the form of CSV files (compatible with Excel), for a further, simple analysis and graphic illustration. For data transfer to the PC an USB interface cable is necessary.

The TesTController 850 is able to process up to six measuring channels with a 24 bit resolution and further six channels with a 10 bit resolution. In addition, it can handle three measuring channels for incremental signals. For controlling of drives there are three regulations channels available, so that even complex combination drives are possible (e.g. force and torque control at the same time). The maximum control frequency is 1 kHz, the maximum measurement frequency is 50 kHz. This testing machine controller 850 may recognize sensors that are equipped with TEDS chips (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet acc.to IEEE 1451.4), read their properties and calibration data, and automatically calibrate them. Thus, these electronic units operate with dozens of different sensors, so that a complex recalibration is not required. All universal testing machines of the model series 106 - 114 are equipped with the TesTController 850.

Laser Scanner Solution: This task is a typical application of the high-resolution QuellTech 2D/3D Q5-880 Blue Laser Scanners. Two of these units are placed at the left and at the right of the measuring objects, at a defined inclination angle. Blue laser light in this case is a prerequisite, as the cast parts are red-hot, hence emitting in the red spectral range. Additionally, the client was in need of a software solution for the project, so a 3D point cloud processing application was implemented, performing inline and evaluating width, height and angle results.
