The mid-size TR15 cabinet scanner is the most popular model in the Todd Research range. With its generous 1.44mᶟ chamber it meets the demands of almost all busy mail room situations while taking up minimal operating space. Due to the compact size of the TR15, it can be used as a security scanner in a variety of areas within a building, including mailrooms and receptions. The TR15 has a 22” touchscreen monitor with an image resolution of 1910 x 1080 pixels to make identifying potential threats clearer and easier than ever before. The TR15 model also comes ready with Wi-Fi capability allowing you to connect your machine with others in a local area network allowing email and printing functionality. The TR15 Smart Scan comes equipped with the EPD™ (Enhanced Powder Detection) feature, the scanner has a heightened ability to threats conveyed via powder-based elements.

We also know that it’s also about what happens if you actually find a threat. Typically, organisations that have received postal threats in the past say that it’s critical that the accurate information is escalated quickly to enable safe evacuation / quarantine. Todd Research are proud to announce the launch of the integration between the Callmy Emergency Messaging service and the TR-Cabinet range. This means that for the first time a scan can be sent to a dedicated group of first responders of your choice. When the TR – X-ray unit produces an image, the operator can send the scan from the machine using an email function. Callmy transforms the contents of an email into an emergency notification that can be transmitted through the service.

The very latest generation TR40 +Smart Scan cabinet scanner from Todd Research provides a new benchmark of threat detection and image management for compact cabinet scanners. This is the largest cabinet scanner in the range, the generous chamber can accommodate mail sacks, large boxes and courier deliveries, with its one touch operation the TR40 allows rapid processing of scanned items all within a compact footprint.

The XRC 50-30P conveyor x-ray scanner is a highly powerful, yet compact x-ray machine which provides exceptional ease in detecting threats, and offers unique image quality. Ideal for areas where space is a premium, while the 170kV generator provides improved detection in small objects, such as bags, backpacks, and mail parcels.

The XRC 60-40P conveyor x-ray scanner is our most compact scanner of this size, boasting a range of advanced image processing functions, and top-of-the-line software features. These cutting-edge technologies work together to make the scanner incredibly easy for operators to use, while also ensuring a high level of threat detection accuracy.

Designed to operate in harsh conditions and treatment, the TR360PRO+ is perfect for scanning large numbers of individuals at a wide range of events and occasions e.g. public buildings, public events, licensed premises and schools. The portability, ease of use and reliability of the TR360PRO+ provides control and flexibility whatever the venue. It can be used indoors and outdoors, can be set up by one person in less than a minute, and comes with with 5 zone LED lighted precision meaning an indication of the location of an object can be highlighted, improving search efficiency.

The TR-TRACE can detect and identify a wide variety of explosives including pure explosive and composite explosives under different humidity and pressure conditions in vapour or trace (particles mode). The list of explosives includes – TNT, RDX, C4, Semtex, PETN, ANFO, EGDN, Nitro-glycerine (NG), Dynamite, DNT, Black Powder, Ammonia and Urea nitrates, HMTD, Tetryl, HMX, Picric Acid, and mixtures thereof. The cost of TR-TRACE’s ownership is very low, as special consumables are not required. Regular aluminium foil swabs can be used for surface wiping in (particle mode). This mobile trace detector does not contain any radiation sources and the warm up time is less than 1 minute.

Gold Maintenance On top of the services outlined in our Silver package, our Gold solution provides complimentary parts and labour in the event of unplanned visits*, plus staff training courses at no extra cost.
