Based on years of experience in the field of test bench metrology in the automotive industry, EP develops test bench solutions for various applications. We build test benches for testing automotive components such as heat exchangers, intercoolers, filters, valves and others. These are test benches on which e.g. supplier parts for the automotive industry are tested in production. Our specialist knowledge of the industry makes us a strong partner in this area.
The system is a self-sufficient unit and is made of a solid welded frame, contains media preparation, a hydraulic unit, and electrical engineering. The pressure test bench has a secure test chamber for burst pressure and hydrostatic pressure tests and, optionally, a climatic chamber for pressure tests with environmental simulation.
Depending on the option selected, pressure change tests up to 2,000 bar and 10 Hz can be generated. With the test circuit for hydrostatic and burst pressure tests, pressure ramps up to 3,000 bar can be generated. It is operated on a support arm PC.

Development of rotating components require intensive testing. While the main goal may be reaching durability and life targets,noise , vibration, temperature and other parameters may play an important role for the customer expectations.
Therefore, Novosim offers a customizable testing dynamometer which may be used to in the product development of passenger, commercial, heavy duty or even military vehicle components.
Software is easy to use and also highly customizable allowing different product lines to be tested under a single system.
With the help of regenerative braking, electricity is recovered and loops back to the test system providing efficient operation. Assuming the tests may run about 1 month, the consumption can be an important parameter for cost control.
Different types of data can be collected and stored in a database for further comparisons and tracking of the development process.
System automatically generates a report which is also customizable.
