The Basto Distillery is a distillation unit that revitalises the Basto region's ancestral methods for producing alcoholic beverages, with particular emphasis on burning wine and grape marc in an alembic. The Basto Distillery combines the traditional production of wine and grape marc spirits with the production of a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, either under its own brand or at the client's request. The valorisation of by-products from wine production is one of the focuses of the project behind the distillery, fostering the circular economy in the agricultural sector. At the same time, the implementation of alcoholic beverage projects for third parties allows for the expansion of production to all types of distilled beverages, contributing to the diversification of the local productive economy.
