Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) is an extremely versatile material which is created by bonding fine hardwood and softwood fibres with resin and compressing them under heat to the panels. Hardwearing, inexpensive and free from defects found in natural timbers such as splits or knot holes, MDF is a popular choice of material for cabinet-making, retail displays, exhibition stands, display plinths, theatrical scenery and decorative furnishings such as doors and radiator covers. MDF lends itself perfectly to CNC machining, and CNC Creations can expertly cut and create shaped, routed and grooved MDF panels up to a maximum size of 3660mm x 1525mm (12ft x 5ft). MDF can be laminated, painted, varnished or left in its raw state and accepts a wide range of fixings.
