  1. MGG POLYMERS GMBH

    Austria

The result of a joint venture between the American MBA Polymers Inc. and the Müller-Guttenbrunn Group, MGG Polymers was formed in 2004. MBA Polymers Austria, based in the town of Kematen an der Ybbs, was fully acquired by the Müller-Guttenbrunn Group in 2017 and renamed MGG Polymers. MGG Polymers makes use of a revolutionary procedure in which a wide variety of plastic types and processing qualities from plastic-rich waste streams (WEEE) are economically reclaimed. Our high-tech facilities produce high-quality plastic granulate and compounds predominantly made from ABS, PP, PS and PC/ABS for reuse in a multitude of products that need to comply with UL, RoHS and REACH standards. These include electrical and automotive components, components for domestic appliances and other products. The organisation is one of the leading plastics recycling plants worldwide. 50, 000 tons per year are processed in a four-shift operation over a production area of 20, 000 m².
