Suitstyler is a half or chest canvas suit that has a fused body. It is produced less hand work. Its descent from the authentic full canvas or non-fused suit is justified for price reasons and the fact that most slacks will not last as long as a jacket. In the old days suits had two pair of slacks and much heartier cloth, justifying two slacks. “Bespoke make” is much slower and painstaking to shape a good chest often with a retailer resulting in a upwards of $3000 suit. Often finer materials are used for a point of sale with ready mades. Bespoke cut is slower and should have a better fit in the chest and elsewhere. Half canvas is easy to tell as when you use both hands to pinch the front and back of the front of the jacket ( at the open edge). You will be able to feel only 2 pieces . Where as on a bespoke make you can feel three layers.
