NEW SEVEGEP LIMITED is a leading manufacturer of fruit juices, concentrates and related by-products. The company was founded in 1972 as a member of a larger group, in the form of an organized co-operative. In the early eighties, in order to meet the steady growth in demand, the company invested in advanced equipment to meet the opportunities offered by the international market in Tetra-Brik aseptic packs of fruit juices and concentrates. At the same time, having become well established internationally with exports all over the world, NEW SEVEGEP undertook a programme of expansion involving technological and quality improvement in every stage of production, from raw materials to finished products. In the last few years, since the introduction of the latest juice packing technologies (TBA/8-1000S Tetra-Brik Aseptic / new Prisma packing) the company has been enjoying a period of unprecedented growth by doubling its total sales. The company now produces more than 40 juice varieties under its ‘Cyprina’ and ‘Fontana’ brands, in one litre and 250ml packs, and the new ‘SK Special’ range in one litre Prisma packs. At the same time, quality improvement continues, and the company ha achieved the most widely recognized international standards with the award of the HACCP (Food Safety Management) certificate in May 2004 ISO 22000.
