Metaltechnik Ltd was established in July 2000. Its two owners are most experienced in the sphere of the engineering industry and business with foreign partners.The main specialization of Metaltechnik Ltd is steel constructions manufacturing including surface adjustment (we make the undercoat, the top coat and also galvanizing or hot dip galvanizing), welded and machined frames, machining with lathes, milling cutters, drills machining with NC-machines (milling cutters, machining center). Metaltechnik Ltd has its own production facilities that consist above all of welding, tooling and cuttering. Other procedures, for example laser machining, blast cleaning, hot working or precision machining are provided by means of co-operation. Metaltechnik Ltd is focused on the particular demand of each customer. 90 % of our business partners are engineering companies in Germany, the rest is represented by domestic customers. Our company was established in 1991 year as Koramex - join stock company. The main products are the switchboard boxes for railway wagons, locomotives, trams, trolley buses, as well as special boxes for power, including nuclear. We are using sheet metal working, bendinf and welding. We also supply the finished product for e.g.: - frames for filling glass fibers, agricultural machinery parts and components for locomotives, trams, metro wagons etc.. Equipments for technological operations : Cutting CNC machine, Laser CNC TRUMPF machine (2x), CNC pressbrakes (4x), CNC saw machine, CNC machining Center (5-axis), CNC punching, press machine, welders, spot welder machine, own powder coating and wet painting. Koramex a.s. currently employs 210 workers. Main customers in the Czech republic : ZAT Controls Systém a.s., ŠKODA Electric, ŠKODA Transportation, ŠKODA Machine Tool, ŠKODA JS, České dráhy (Czech railways), SWAC Bohemia, Elektrizace železnic, ČKD Elektrotechnika a.s., Invelt Energo spol. s r.o. Abroad : Faiveley s.a., ABB, SIEMENS, MELECS, Bucheler a.g., AREVA We bought last year (2015) new machines from Trumpf company (CNC laser machine and CNC bending machine.
