Roller screws are a particularly precise and robust form of linear actuators. Thanks to their construction, they stand out from other linear actuators, for example ball screws, through a much higher load capacity and stiffness. This is achieved through their construction with so-called thread rolls. The thread rolls serve as rolling elements between the threaded spindles and threaded nuts. Another major advantage of the screw rollers is the large range of thread pitches that can be achieved. The multiple thread profile of the screw rollers allows total spindle pitches of 0.5 mm to 50 mm.
