  1. ARMAGNAC CASTAREDE

    France

CASTAREDE is the oldest Armagnac company in France and was founded in 1832. In 2016, Florence Castarède, 6 generations later, accepted the EPV label (Living Heritage Company) that rewards small-scale companies that apply rare, renowned or centuries-old expertise. Maison Castarède currently produces its Armagnacs on its Château de Maniban estate (Bas Armagnac). The estate that is entirely planted with 4 grape varieties (Colombard, Baco, Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche) has just been awarded the HVE (High Environmental Value) label. In order to produce balanced, well-rounded Armagnacs, Maison Castarède leaves them to age longer than is legally required. Over 15 years ago Maison Castarède opened a showroom in the heart of Paris. You will discover initiation in the Armagnac appellation, products, tasting and a friendly atmosphere inside the shop.
