PEKU Folien GmbH is a medium-sized family business that focuses on the sustainable production of films and bags. The company is a partner for the food, hygiene, garden, industrial, medical, pharmaceutical and many other sectors. The product portfolio consists of mono- and co-extruded films made of polyethylene, which are up to 100% recyclable. Internal film waste is processed in our own recycling plant and returned to the production cycle. For our films and bags made from recycled material, PCR (post-consumer resin) and PIR (post-industrial resin) regranulates are also used, depending on customer requirements. In addition, with PEKUGreen, a brand was created that uses renewable raw materials. PEKU prints all films with up to 10 colours in high-quality flexographic printing (full HD quality), depending on customer requirements. The range of films includes tubular, half-tubular and flat films. In the converted area, PEKU has concentrated on drawstring bags, pressure seal bags, chain bags, Euro-hole bags, wrap-around bags and special bags. In addition, the film manufacturer also offers simple bottom gusset, side seam and bottom seam bags. RHEIN-PLAST GMBH

The history of RHEIN-PLAST and polyethylene plastic. The exciting developments in the field of polyethylene (PE) plastic at the nearby BASF site led Karl Eisemann to install machinery for manufacturing film bags at his forge and he founded RHEIN-PLAST in 1959. Unfortunately, he was only able to guide the company for a few years until shortly before he passed away in 1966. Two of his sons, Hermann and Hans-Georg Eisemann, joined the company, before being followed by Norbert, the third son, in 1966. The brothers jointly took on the shares in the company and also its leadership. The site soon proved to be too small and in 1969 the business moved into a company premises which had been rebuilt from scratch near Bad Dürkheim in south-western Germany. The headquarters of RHEIN-PLAST has remained at the site and in the hands of the Eisemann family to this day. The company uses in-house cast film extrusion, printing and manufacturing facilities to produce high-quality bags and sacks made from PE films, all of which are custom-made to meet a wide range of customer requirements for customers all over the world.

W.AG Funktion + Design GmbH, based in Geisa, Germany, was founded in 1992 and currently has 180 employees. Bertram Göb is the managing director. W.AG started out initially as a supplier of technical injection moulding components, but soon went on to develop its own range of cases and containers. The company's major breakthrough happened in 1997 with the TEKNO plastic case. Building on this success, W.AG developed numerous other case, box and containers series in the following years, such as the small product packaging SWING, the heavy-duty case HEAVY, the JAZZ model range, the slim plastic case BEAT and the highly functional design case TWIST. Alongside developing cases and boxes and continuously expanding into injection moulding and tool manufacturing, the company built up competencies in areas of foam processing and printing technology.
