KAUP GmbH & Co. KG (KAUP) is the world's largest independent manufacturer of attachments for forklift trucks. Stationary systems and container spreaders for forklifts and cranes expand KAUP's product range. The offering also includes attachments for driverless transport systems and electronic attachments. KAUP has its origins in Aschaffenburg. A smithy was founded there in 1894, which later specialised in repairs for inland navigation and crane systems. This was the precursor to today's company.
