Our unique talking point was the automatic joining equipment, co-developed with Motec, which is still used today to produce large series. In 2000, we began expanding our fan production site to include a development department with its own laboratory for designing fans and airflow systems. Besides the many customer projects we take on as a pure development service provider, actiro has been working as one of the pioneers in the development of SR motors since 2004. Thanks to their high speeds, these motors are particularly well suited for long-lasting blowers and rough environmental conditions. In 2007, our company changed its name to actiro GmbH & Co. KG in order to present ourselves to the outside world as a significant player in the new line of business. We are a provider of customised services. We develop and test most of our products independently to meet each of our customers' specific requirements. Our products are sold by notable manufacturers under their own brands.

The industrial bearing division of the Miba Bearing Group produces hydrodynamic and hydrostatic plain bearings and labyrinth seals for machines with rotating shafts such as turbines, compressors, expanders, pumps, as well as generators, motors or pulp and paper refiners. These applications are needed for energy production, but also in the oil and gas industry as well as the chemical industry. The product range includes hydrodynamic tilting pad radial and axial bearings as well as housing bearings. Housing bearings include pedestal bearings, flanged bearings and centre flanged bearings.
