Materials include classics such as PLA, PET-G, ASA and ABS as well as nylon (PA6, PA12), TPU, PPS, HIPS, PP, PC/PTFE, PCTG, high-temperature filaments, thermoactive filaments, high-performance biopolymers and wood filaments. Many of our filaments are also available as composite fibre variants such as glass fibres, carbon fibres and aramid fibres. We also produce special colours using a colour number of your sample. You decide which coil type your filament should have: be it a standard plastic coil, recycled plastic coil or cardboard coil, packaging sizes of up to 20 kg are possible on a single coil (depending on the coil type). We meet your quality and price requirements. All our filaments satisfy the REACH and RoHS requirements while certain materials also meet provisions for approval in the food sector.     TECNARO GmbH (TEChnologie NAchwachsende ROhstoffe) was founded in 1998 as an ICT spin-off from Fraunhofer Gesellschaft für angewandte Forschung e. V. with the aim of replacing conventional petroleum based plastics with plant-based bioplastics. These biomaterial granulates are called ARBOFORM®, ARBOFILL® and ARBOBLEND®. These environmentally-friendly biomaterials are processed in the same way as conventional petroleum-based plastics by means of injection moulding, extrusion, pressing, deep drawing, calendering, spinning or blow moulding to make moulded parts, panels, films, bottles, profiles, coatings or filaments. The company has received a number of awards for the innovativeness and sustainability of its products, including Green Brands Germany 2013/14, 2015/16 and 2017/18 2019/20 2021/22 Gipfeltreffen der Weltmarktführer honoured TECNARO with the Innovation Champions Award 2020, Diesel-Medaille 2011, European Inventor Award 2010, Germany Industry Award 2009 in the suppliers category, Werkbund Label 2008, VR Innovation Award 2007, ZDF WISO Founder Award, Euromold Award in Gold. In 2014/15, a dedicated production plant was built in Ilsfeld and was more than doubled in 2022 through an extension.
