We are pleased to introduce ourselves as the only saffron farmers’ cooperative in the world certified by Fair Trade. Based in Torbat Heydariyeh and Zaveh (Khorasan, E. Iran) which is the hub of saffron production in the world, our cooperative was founded in 2013 with 60 farmers, mostly small-producers. We have been following Fair Trade guidelines in all aspects of farming and have used the premium from sales for improving the welfare of the farming societies and betterment of agricultural techniques and equipment. With our Fair Trade partner, Nour Safran Monaco based in Switzerland, we have created a supply chain in which our saffron goes from the farms in Iran to Switzerland and not only gets tested in the best laboratories in the world but is also packaged there following the highest international standards. We are looking for potential customers who want to buy genuine produce directly from the farmers. We can supply all kinds of Grade A saffron in bulk or packaging at short notice, be it powder or filaments. Through Fair Trade, we have a very secure supply chain guaranteeing the best of products.
