With the acquisition of parking meters from Siemens AG, RTB opened another chapter of company history in 2014. Two years later, RTB developed the product LOC.id, a mobility aid for the blind and visually impaired. The company was advanced through international expansion with the foundation of RTB Safe Traffic, Inc. in Canada. RTB maintains an office there in Stoney Creek. In 2021, a further important step in the area of internationalisation followed, with the foundation of the sales office RTB Safe Traffic Asia, Ltd. in Hong Kong.
