Design61 in Tiel was born out of a hobby, and it still is. I love beautiful things and strive to preserve them for everyone who can appreciate them. I search for lovely furniture, lamps, and everyday items from the 1950s and 1960s and restore them to their original condition. This includes overall furniture restoration, repair of Danish paper cord, making seagrass weaving, renewing woven webbing, upholstering or covering chairs or other furniture, and repairing woodwork.
