Thrive Occupational Therapy Services work with those close to young people to identify and explore individual sensory needs, functional emotional development, and regulation, cognition, social, and motor skills. Providing advice, assessment, training, and therapy intervention in these areas enabling young people to be the best they can be, whilst improving and fulfilling their sense of well-being. Our team of Thrive OTs work within multi-disciplinary teams including teaching staff, physiotherapists, educational and clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, and the school wellbeing team. Through collaborative working and training, our Thrive OTs can ensure each young person can participate and engage in a wide breadth of activities. From feeling safe, regulated, and ready to learn, to recognising body signals as clues to their emotions. We also work together to improve health and well-being so young people can engage in activities, develop essential life skills and scaffold learning opportunities. This could include holding a pencil or cutlery; improved attention using sensory supports; an adapted environment including appropriate seating; and to maintain self regulation to access learning and play. We want each and every young person to “Thrive”!

EMAV Ltd came about in early 2019 as the result of a lifetime of aviation enthusiasm and a passion for photography - and more than a little geekiness when it comes to drones, cameras and all manner of other tech! After a lifetime or two (that’s how it felt) in consultancy and a software background, our founder (and guiding light! ) wanted to marry those skills with aviation and photography and hence, EMAV was born. Consultancy skills, in particular, will always be at the core of EMAV operations, with every client treated as a one of a kind, with a unique problem to solve, requiring a bespoke solution each and every time.
