We produce fabrics such as Interlock, pique, linings, sweatshirt fleece fabric, 2x1 & 1x1 ribs, single jersey, towelling, jacquard, loop-back, ponti de roma, etc..We manufacture a wide selection of EN20471: 2013 high visibility red, high visibility yellow and high visibility orange fabrics for workwear and corporate clients. All fully tested and certificated. Our latest fabric developments are being manufactured from 100% recycle polyester yarns - RPET plastic bottles, and Recover Uno cotton/polyester blended yarns - textile waste/recycle cotton/RPET plastic bottles. Sustainable fashion or eco fashion is part of the growing design philosophy and trend of sustainability, the goal of which is to create a system which can be supported indefinitely in terms of human impact on the environment and social responsibility. These eco-fibers consist of recycled polyester, which has received international certification from our yarn suppliers. Further to using eco-fibers, all packaging materials for garment bags are made from bio-degradable corn, which allows the bags to naturally disintegrate back into the eco system, once they are discarded. Catherine Deane additionally uses hangtags which are made from recycled paper, creating a full circle approach to sustainable packaging materials. Catherine Deane, as a brand whose main source of inspiration is nature, is acutely aware of the negative consequences the fashion industry has on the environment. We feel it is our responsibility to make a change and help maintain our environment beautiful so wanderers can keep wandering and dreamers can keep dreaming, especially since fashion is the second most polluting business on the globe. We achieved our 40 percent eco goal, which includes all of our lining fabrics in our bridal collection being made from 60 percent to 100 percent recycled yarns, as well as specific Eco advancements on shell fabrics.
