To provide a reliable valve solution to the market Oliver’s have qualified a new range specifically designed and constructed for hydrogen service.The Oliver range of hydrogen needle and ball valves have been specifically designed suitable for use with the gas. Some metallic materials are susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement, which can lead to cracking and failure. Therefore all the wetted materials within the Oliver valves are suitable for hydrogen. Some elastomer materials can degrade in contact with the gas and blister due to rapid gas decompression. Therefore all sealing materials within the Oliver valves are fluoropolymers which are ideally suited for hydrogen.
